MC2 Pacific Pty Ltd was established in 1991 by senior staff from one of
the major international consultancies, who had a specific interest in risk
and crisis management.
By the mid-1990’s, several major incidents in energy and utilities and the
unique needs of government privatisation of utilities brought a change in
our focus to concentrate on strategic risk management, as well as crisis
and emergency management for the energy and utilities sector.
The new Millennium brought about a re-examination of
our goals and objectives; reconfirmation of our mission statement to be a
leading risk,crisis and continuity management consultancy in essential services and industries for
this region.
Throughout the period we have maintained close working relationships with
clients in the energy sector such as Singapore Power, NEMMCO, TransGrid, Powerlink and Energex;
major water utilities in Australia including Sydney Water, Vivendi, Hunter Water and the Melbourne water
industry; and In the transportation sector, we have developed relationships with service
providers including NSW State Transit, Sydney Ferries, Sydney Ports, Port of Brisbane, and
NSW Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation.
Based on our experience in energy, utilities and transportation, and having
played the lead consulting role in establishing, testing, and refining the
industry-wide crisis and emergency processes for both the electricity and
gas sectors in Australia and Singapore, we think we can justifiably claim
to be living up to our mission statement as:
