New South Wales State Transit Authority - the authority responsible for the public bus services in Sydney and Newcastle with a fleet of over 1700 buses operating out of 15 depots. We developed the overall continuity management framework, identified key activities at both corporate and bus operations (depot) level, carried out business impact analyses, and developed a comprehensive set of detailed continuity plans to ensure resilience of the services. The continuity plans were integrated with a crisis management plan and a revised set of emergency response plans through common command processes. GrainCorp - the organisation that manages the storage, transportation and export of over 10 million tonnes of grain cereals each year using some 250 grain storage sites throughout the eastern states, and also operates a grain trading system. Our work comprised the development of business continuity plans for the corporate functions and their integration with existing IT disaster recovery and emergency response plans. Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation - the NSW government authority with oversight of major infrastructure construction projects in the state, including the $1 billion Epping to Chatswood rail link in Sydney's north west. We developed detailed business continuity plans for key business processes,systems, assets and resources together with a programme of training and exercises to ensure the Corporation is fully compliant and equipped with continuity plans for all mission critical activities. Our work also included the development and implementation of crisis and communication management procedures to enable TIDC to manage the responses to emergencies and continue to meet its business objectives in the event of disruption Sydney Ferries Corporation - manager and operator of the Sydney harbour ferry services with a fleet of 37 vessels connecting locations in the inner and outer harbours, Manly, and the Parramatta river. We developed a set of continuity procedures and a continuity management framework to enable the service to handle disruptions and to continue to operate in emergency situations. We are currently assisting with the Implementation of the plans through the design and running of a series of exercises Regional Land Management Corporation - the agency responsible for remediation and re-use of reclaimable land sites In the Lower Hunter region. We introduced a business continuity management framework, identified activities and resources that were critical in meeting the Corporation's objectives, and prepared detailed continuity plans for each 'mission critical' component. |
