 Emergency Response

MC2 assists both public and private sector organisations to minimise the impact of emergency incidents, whether physical or commercial in nature. This is accomplished through the development, implementation and testing of detailed Emergency Response plans at various levels of the organisation.

Even in the most diligent organisations, accidents and incidents can not be totally avoided, but their effect on operations and customers can be controlled, if the right plans and preparations are in place. Increasingly, regulations demand such readiness and response capability.

Our range of services in this field can be tailored to suit the specific needs of individual organisations, sites, or events and include:

  • Audits and reviews, to assess risks, or evaluate preparedness and compliance
  • Design of the structure and contents of the total organisation's emergency response framework and contingency / business continuity arrangements
  • Development of incident specific or specialist plans such as fires, spills, evacuation, criminal attacks, natural disasters, kidnap and extortion, civil unrest, etc
  • Equipment and facility specification and supply
  • Design and conduct of training programmes, (including video and on-line), drills, and exercises

We routinely work with the emergency services and other regulatory authorities to ensure the seamless integration of the client's response plans with those external stakeholders' operations. We ensure that all plans are comprehensive, meet or exceed all relevant Standards, and cover all internal and external notifications and interfaces, such as the Incident Command Structure in use across most of Australia.
